Alexandra & Patrick are (for want of a better word ( Alexandra)) AMAZEBALLS!

Every now and again there are the couples that you just adore.  I’m fortunate enough to have found a couple that love my work, and whom I simply can’t explain how amazing they are.  They are super cute and loving and 2 of the funniest people I have ever photographed.

Let me paint a picture;
It’s a warm and sunny Sunday morning at Glen Echo Park just outside of Washington, DC.  I arrive for our session and having spotted whom I believe to be Alexandra and Patrick a few cars down from my own; I head over to say hello and to get out pictures stared.  What do I see?  A reasonably well dressed young couple proceeding to drink about 3/4′s of a bottle of white wine out of Styrofoam cups beckoning me to join them in their morning libations.  I kindly reject their offer to get me drunk.  Being a consummate professional I don’t usually start drinking until about 80% through the job at hand.  Alexandra (who we can all agree is a stunning beauty) proceeds to explain that she’s nervous and needs to get tipsy to be photographed.  From here on out it was just a fun couple of hours hanging out with new friends, not a 2 hour session of work.

If only every couple were Alexandra and Patrick.  I would happily shoot 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.

I’ve rambled enough.  Glen Echo Park is an incredible place for a shoot as I’m sure you’ll see!  I hope I get to go back soon.  Now for some pictures!

I can’t wait for the hilarity that is sure to ensue at their wedding in May.  So excited!
