Washington DC Portrait Photographer: Stephen Gosling Photography
Last week I had the immense pleasure of working with Flashes of Hope. From the Flashes of Hope website; “Flashes of Hope is a national non-profit organization that changes the way children with cancer see themselves through the gift of photography and raises money for pediatric cancer research”.
The Washington Capitals are a sponsor of this great organization and last week hosted some kids at their training facility and even sent a long Jason Chimera & Brooks Laich for a little photo shoot. I’ve been trying to get involved with this charity for about 18 months now but our schedules would always conflict and I wasn’t able to help out, but then last week came along and the stars aligned; and I finally got to give back and it felt great to do so.
The shoot is provided free of charge for the patient and their families and WHCC even gives out free prints from the shoot!
I had a lot of fun at the shoot and hope to work with them again soon!
How cute are these two little angels?!?!
Thanks so much to Flashes of Hope for letting me be a part of the shoot, to the Capitals for being an amazing organization and hosting this great event and finally to Hannah (of Flashes of Hope) for helping facilitate the whole shoot.
