Lee-Fendall House Wedding: Stephen Gosling Photography

Most if not all brides wish for a sunny day for their wedding.  Good weather is always desired but alas not always given.  Sara & Bill had planned to have their wedding out in the garden at the Lee-Fendall House but unfortunately it had rained hard for the three days prior to their wedding and was on and off during the entire day (during the reception is was throwing it down!) so the decision had to be made to put the rainy day tent up and conduct the affairs of the day inside.  Thankfully the rain did not dampen anyones spirits, feelings and (most importrantly) my pictures!

The day started out at the Hotel Monaco on King Street where Sara was getting ready.  A chilled out group of girls that helped out immensely when the news of a small bus crash reached us thus making the groomsmen walk to the Lee-Fendall House and leaving us to get in cabs instead of waiting for a different bus.  We then arrived at the ceremony and reception site and thank heavens Sara & Bill decided to do a first luck because we were able to get all of our portraits done before the ceremony, and before the worst of the rain came through!

For our portraits we took a little stroll around the block and found some great streets and doorways to use as backgrounds.

Then back to the house for the wonderfully touching ceremony, some exceptional beer and a raucous dance floor!
